He was born in 1973. Özgür Öztürk, who graduated from İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School, started his undergraduate education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1991 and completed it in 1997.
He completed his specialization education, which he started at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, which was his first choice in the Medical Specialization Exam in 1998, with his thesis titled "Obsessive Compulsive Symptoms in Schizophrenia" in 2003.
Dr. was an invited speaker at the meetings of the European Psychiatric Association (AEP) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA). Özgür Öztürk is also the founder of the Turkish Psychiatric Association Assistant Working Unit.
Dr. Öztürk, who worked as a psychiatrist at Balıklı Rum Hospital Anatolia surgery between 2005 and 2008, successfully passed the exam he took in December 2007 and became an Associate Professor of Psychiatry, and a Professor in 2014.
Prof.Dr. currently works at the Istanbul Psychiatry Institute, which he founded. Özgür Öztürk speaks fluent English and French. He has 36 scientific articles, 12 of which are international, three books and a textbook translation.
